Oshyn 2023 Year In Review

Over the past year, we’ve been busy helping our clients implement new solutions, revamp their websites, and deliver the perfect experience for their customers. Before we get too caught up in the pace of 2024, we wanted to remind ourselves of some of the important milestones Oshyn has achieved over the last 12 months. Here’s our 2023 year in review.

Best Place to Work in Technology 2023

Our warm culture and continued commitment to professional growth were fully on display in 2023. That was highlighted as Oshyn was ranked in the top 10 in Ecuador as a Best Place to Work in Technology 2023 by Great Place to Work Ecuador.

2023 Sitecore Partner Award

In 2023, Oshyn was awarded the Sitecore Partner Award for Investment in Delivery Excellence for our work implementing the Sitecore suite of composable products for multiple customers. As Sitecore has embraced a composable approach, Oshyn has paid particularly close attention so that we can continue to deliver effective solutions for our clients.

2023 Sitecore MVP Awards

Two Oshyn team members were named Sitecore Most Valuable Professionals in 2023. Mariela Pancho was one of only 137 Technology MVPs worldwide to be named Sitecore MVP, while Mayra Olivo was one of only 74 Ambassador MVPs worldwide to be recognized this year.

5 Major Launches Across the Strategic Consulting, Healthcare, and Utilities Industries and More

Our teams of developers and designers supported clients with major website launches in 2023. We provided custom development and implementation, UX design, as well as Sitecore, Adobe, and Optimizely services to enterprises in healthcare, utilities, strategic consulting, and other industries.

With our help, multiple clients were able to upgrade the user experience with sleek designs.

This helped them advance their business objectives, whether attracting new customers or converting existing customers, as well as boosted productivity and performance.

Expanding Service Offerings

In 2023, Oshyn began our partnership with Adobe, offering auditing, development, and enhancement services to customers using the Adobe Experience Cloud. We also reignited our partnership with Optimizely, providing customers with a broader selection of services since our partnership began in 2007 when the company was known as Episerver.

These partnerships and our continued partnership with Sitecore will enable us to service a broader marketplace and provide more insight to customers about the digital experience industry.

Multiple Conferences and Networking Events

We attended multiple conferences and networking events throughout 2023, including Adobe Summit in March, Opticon 2023 in October, and various Sitecore events throughout the year, including several hosted by the SUGCon (Sitecore User Group Conference) such as SUGCON North America in October 2023. Our team members were also present at Women Talk Tech LatAm in Ecuador.

Continued Upskilling and Career Development

This year was one of growth and development for our Oshyn team. As part of our annual meeting at the start of 2023 (which we plan to do again in 2024), we workshopped career paths, defined training requirements, and set objectives to help our team develop their skill set.

This included certified quality and performance testing and responsive web design using modern tooling such as Next.js, Svelte, static site generation (SSG), Vercel, and Netlify. It also included Sitecore, Adobe, and Optimizely development training and certifications across the entire MarTech stack, including CMS and commerce platforms, personalization, and CDP.

Four teams from Oshyn also participated in the annual Sitecore Community Hackathon as they competed to create a Sitecore project based on a set of predetermined parameters within 24 hours.

In 2023, our developers went above and beyond by acquiring new certifications and upskilling to stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving DXP landscape and continue to deliver cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

Continued Growth Over the Last Three Years

Our growth trajectory over the last three years has also been notable, and we’ve realized an annualized growth rate of over 5%. This continued development is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence, client satisfaction, and innovation in the digital experience space.
