This year’s Sitecore Symposium promises to be filled with tons of great information and insights. We’re particularly eager to hear the latest details on where Sitecore is headed as they evolve their product offerings. They’ve been on a recent tear acquiring technologies that turn up the volume on the ability for marketers to be ever more effective. Starting at the end of 2018, Sitecore acquired Stylelabs (digital asset management) which was used as a cornerstone for Content Hub. And this year alone, Sitecore has acquired Boxever (customer data platform), Four51 (ecommerce), Moosend (marketing automation), and Reflektion (AI-powered search).
Due to the pandemic, the event is virtual again this year. And even better, registration is free for the first time ever.
Symposium runs from Tuesday, October 5 through Thursday, October 7. As a global event, the agenda is built to accommodate different regions and time zones, so sessions for the Americas will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday (Oct 5 & 6) while the sessions for EMEA and APAC will be on Wednesday and Thursday (Oct 6 & 7).
One session we strongly encourage you to check out is titled “Under the hood: Personalization strategies for creating moments of customer serendipity”. Our client, Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH), along with our valued agency partner, White Rhino, are presenting in this session and sharing their journey and approach to adopting best-in-class personalization. As part of ACH’s recent replatform and redesign, they brought the positive experience provided to families in their hospitals to their digital presence.
